3 Birdish Book Covers We Love
Updated: Apr 8
It's no secret that we love books as much as we love birds -- so whenever a new birdish book cover is released, it's definitely something we take notice of.
Here are three of our current favourites:
What it's about: Flight is a novel of family, ambition, precarity, art, and desire, one that forms a powerful next step from a brilliant chronicler of our time. It's December twenty-second and siblings Henry, Kate, and Martin have converged with their spouses on Henry's house in upstate New York. (Harper Collins)
What it's about: Under cover of darkness, Kate flees London for ramshackle Weyward Cottage, inherited from a great aunt she barely remembers. With its tumbling ivy and overgrown garden, the cottage is worlds away from the abusive partner who tormented Kate. But she begins to suspect that her great aunt had a secret. (MacMillan Publishers)
What it's about: The stories in this book explore the full warp and weft of experience, from two best friends disagreeing about their shared past, to the right way to stop someone from choking; from a daughter determining if her mother really is a witch, to what to do with inherited relics such as World War II parade swords. (Penguin Books)
Happy reading!
