At Flock + Ink, we're proud to celebrate the Planet Earth and the winged creatures who inhabit it every single day.

We're also proud that our birdseed packaging is all 100% compostable.

Each of our eco-friendly seed pouches features a resealable zipper and are made from polylactic acid (PLA) of plants and include a laminated protective ALOX coating.

As you may know, PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a bioplastic material made from renewable resources such as corn and sugar. It’s a sustainable product and is compostable in industrial composting facilities.

ALOX (Aluminum Oxide) Coating is a clear barrier coating and when applied to flexible plastic film can achieve high oxygen and moisture barrier properties.

ALOX is compostable and when used with a PLA film creates a high barrier, compostable package.
